Production Case Study

VideoCaddy Golf Production

A golf video production project developed through Radiant, my broader media venture. The work treats production as a repeatable system: capture technique clearly, preserve the rhythm of play, and build footage that can support multiple useful edits.

Overview

VideoCaddy sits inside Radiant, a media venture built around useful production systems rather than one-off content. The project centers on golf video production: capturing technique, pace, environment, and instruction in a way that can serve viewers, players, and future media products.

Context

Golf content has to make small movements legible without becoming sterile. The production challenge was to preserve the feel of the course and the rhythm of play while still creating footage clear enough for analysis, social distribution, and repeatable editorial use.

Role and Scope

I shaped the production approach across concept, capture planning, camera priorities, field execution, and editorial direction. The work required treating each shoot as both a finished deliverable and source material for a larger Radiant media system.

Coverage Strategy

Coverage emphasized repeatable angles, readable ball and body movement, clean environmental context, and enough detail to support multiple edits. The goal was to make each capture session efficient while preserving options for instructional, promotional, and narrative cuts.

Editorial System

In post, the emphasis was clarity and pace: trimming setup time, preserving the key motion, and building sequences that could work as compact standalone pieces or as part of a broader content library. The edit approach favored usefulness over spectacle.

Why It Mattered

The project helped define Radiant as more than a production label. It became a practical model for building media properties around repeatable capture, clear editorial standards, and subject-specific production systems that can compound over time.
