Selected Work

A few projects across web systems, software, and media.

These case studies show the context, the role I held, and the decisions behind the work. Some are technical systems. Some are production pieces. The common thread is careful structure and a bias toward work that stays useful after the first handoff.

Engineering

Systems With Some Staying Power

Architecture, data modeling, state clarity, and interface decisions that make products easier to operate and extend.

  • Andacity Booking System

    Andacity Booking System

    Role and scope

Lead full-stack engineer · Search architecture and data modeling

    Project challenge

Search inputs arrived from users and suppliers in inconsistent formats, creating unpredictable search behavior. I designed a canonical query layer and normalized entity model that kept booking behavior stable as the product expanded and suppliers grew.

    Why it mattered

Canonical contracts eliminated edge-case branching logic. New integrations shipped without rewriting search semantics. Architecture-level decisions made feature work faster and safer.

  • Timeshare Search & Rentals

    Timeshare Search & Rentals

    Role and scope

Frontend/product engineer · Search UX and dense listing systems

    Project challenge

Dense listings forced users to compare pricing, dates, amenities, and policies under pressure. I rebuilt the search and listing experience around stable hierarchy, predictable comparison, and resilient handling of variable inventory.

    Why it mattered

Stable card structure made inventory easier to scan and trust. Responsive comparison patterns reduced layout drift. Future offer variation could follow rules instead of one-off exceptions.

  • Ancestry DNA Kit Activation

    Ancestry DNA Kit Activation

    Role and scope

Frontend systems engineer · High-trust activation flow

    Project challenge

A sensitive consumer activation flow needed explicit state, predictable validation, and calmer recovery paths. I rebuilt the frontend experience around reusable patterns that could scale without making users feel uncertain.

    Why it mattered

Clear progress, consistent validation, and reusable UI primitives reduced uncertainty in a high-volume trust-sensitive flow. The system became easier for both users and teams to reason about.

Production

Media With a Human Center

Framing, coverage, pacing, and editorial decisions that make people, places, and ideas easier to understand.

  • Bellagio Fountain Film embedded from YouTube

    Bellagio Fountain Film

    Role and context

Observational short · Director/Shooter/Editor · Live night exterior

    Production challenge

A live-performance short built from unpredictable fountain choreography. I developed an adaptive coverage strategy to translate real-time events into a clear visual sequence, using restrained editorial pacing and low-light framing discipline to reveal structure in chaos.

    What it demonstrates

Strategic coverage planning under unpredictable timing. Framing discipline in low-light conditions. Rhythm and pacing as narrative tools that reveal structure and intention.

  • Cinematic interview still for the Founder Profile Launch Film case study

    Founder Profile Launch Film

    Role and context

Launch narrative · End-to-end production · Interview direction and edit

    Production challenge

A founder-led launch film that shaped strategic messaging into an authentic on-camera narrative. I structured the interview to surface genuine voice while maintaining message precision, balancing authenticity with communication clarity.

    What it demonstrates

Interview prompting techniques that yield usable narrative beats. Story structure that serves both authenticity and strategic positioning. Editorial judgment under timeline and approval pressure.

  • Cinematic night market still for the Night Market Social Campaign case study

    Night Market Social Campaign

    Role and context

Social campaign system · Creative development/production/edit

    Production challenge

A multi-format campaign package delivered from a single production window. I designed platform-aware coverage planning and modular editorial approach that allowed one shoot to serve multiple formats while maintaining consistent brand voice and pacing.

    What it demonstrates

Multi-format content planning and efficient production. Coverage strategy that enables flexible, high-quality edits for each platform. Consistent visual and narrative voice across diverse outputs.
